Bringing Austin’s Red Line Parkway to Life

Project Parkway is Red Line Parkway Initiative’s capital campaign to raise $250,000 to support our efforts to plan, build, and steward the Red Line Parkway—a 32+ mile linear park and public space connecting from Downtown Austin to Leander.

The Parkway will provide residents of the Austin metro area with access to a thriving and inclusive multi-functional trail, creating opportunities for Austinites to enjoy car-free transit, parks, green space, and public art. 

As our metro area continues to grow at unprecedented rates, it is imperative that we come together to prioritize resources like the Parkway in our community. 

To bring this transformative resource and vision to life, we need your support.

Funds raised through the Project Parkway campaign will go directly toward helping RLPI as we lead the effort to:

• Plan the Parkway by engaging the public, government agencies, and experts to create a community-driven plan;
• Fund the Parkway by securing and stewarding both public and private donors;
• Build the Parkway by working with all stakeholders to ensure integrity of the design and process;
• Activate the Parkway through programming to bring the trail to life.
