Join the Red Line Parkway Initiative and AARP for a Transit Adventure to Crestview Crescent and sample the best Asian dining and shopping in Austin.
If you’ve been dreaming about dumplings, curious about K-Pop, and want to see what the Korean skincare fuss is about, you can explore it all at the Crescent! Read Eater Austin’s review to get your imagination going.
Take the Red Line MetroRail or a CapMetro bus and meet us at Crestview Station. We will meet at the 99 Ranch Market bakery, head out to shop in small groups, meet back up again for lunch at Steamies Dumplings, shop some more, and meet up again for a boba tea and Taiwanese pastries at 85C Bakery Cafe before heading home.
Shopping options include:
Kinokuniya Austin bookstore
Tanuki Games
Hallyu Cosmetics
Daiso Dollar Store
Pinkbox Austin
and more!
The Red Line Parkway Initiative is a non-profit organization dedicated to building a vibrant trail and linear park along the CapMetro Red Line, connecting Downtown Austin, Cedar Park, and Leander. Some sections are already open to the public and enjoyed by neighbors from all walks of life. Our goal is to unite partners and communities to plan, fund, build, and activate dedicated spaces for cyclists and pedestrians along the Parkway. This Parkway will provide car-free transportation options that are accessible to ALL members of the community, while fighting the effects of climate change.
