One of the impacts of TxDOT's I-35 Capital Express Central project is that Boggy Creek west of I-35 will be diverted to flow into a new drainage tunnel under the highway that will flow out to the Colorado River at the Montopolis Bridge. This will reduce Boggy Creek's flow on the east side of I-35 as it makes its way through Wilshire Wood, Cherrywood, Chestnut, Rosewood, Govalle, and other neighborhoods. This may be news to some of you, and if you have any questions, we encourage you to attend the following upcoming meeting.
