As we head into the holidays, we hope this email finds each of you preparing for a restful and joyful week ahead. This time of year always reminds us of the importance of community and the beauty of generosity. 

At Red Line Parkway Initiative, we are feeling especially grateful for the friends and partners who stand by us and work with us to drive forward our mission to create the Red Line Parkway. 

As you know, the Red Line Parkway is a 32+ mile trail and linear park that will run from Downtown Austin to Leander, providing much-needed, enjoyable, car-free access to transit, parks, public art, and other urban, suburban, and rural destinations.

The Parkway will help make our community cleaner, greener, and more affordable.

And this holiday season, you have a unique opportunity to help us bring this vision to life, because every donation made to RLPI by Dec. 31, 2021 will be matched up to $10,000 by The Sinclair Black Family Charitable Trust and will go directly toward our Project Parkway Campaign, an effort to raise the $250,000 in private funding needed to plan and activate the Red Line Parkway.

To top it off, donors who contribute $500 or more by Dec. 31st will also receive a free Red Line Parkway Initiative T-shirt and hat!

The Parkway has the potential to transform our community, making Austin a more inclusive city for all.
