CapMetro Red Line Trail Study
The CapMetro Red Line Trail Study's second Virtual Open House & Survey is open! The virtual open house will be live to the public through June 7.
The Red Line Trail Study aims to identify feasible opportunities and recommendations for a trail within CapMetro’s Rail Right-of-Way. Your input will help surrounding cities and counties as they continue implementing the future Red Line Trail.
Our Future 35 Community Open House
Our Future 35 is the City of Austin program developing the caps and stitches over the I-35 CapEx Central expansion project. Two of the largest caps will be adjacent to the Red Line Parkway, so this is a huge opportunity for Red Line Parkway fans to help shape the future of the Parkway.
Visit the Our Future 35 Community Open House this Saturday, May 18th 10am-2pm at ACC Highland.
For those registering and attending the Lakeline Bike Ride, we'll precede the ride with a special preview stop at the open house, so that you won't get FOMO.
If you cannot attend the open house this Saturday, Our Future 35 is also hosting a webinar next Wednesday, May 22nd, and will provide online opportunities for input as well.
CapMetro MetroBike Open House
CapMetro is hosting a MetroBike Community Group Ride and MetroBike Open House this Saturday, May 18th. The bike ride begins at 12:00n and the open house begins at 1:30pm, both at Plaza Saltillo. You'll learn more about the MetroBike Strategic Expansion Plan (bike share) and have an opportunity to test-ride the new e-bikes.
Read more about the upcoming CapMetro BikeShare expansion this summer.
4th & I-35 Signals Coming Soon
The Red Line Parkway crossing at 4th & I-35 is finally getting new traffic signals! Thanks to City of Austin, CapMetro, and TxDOT for coordinating to bring this project to fruition. And thanks to you, for supporting our work to give the extra nudge needed to bring this over the finish line.
New Parkway improvements in North Loop and Highland

New shared-use paths continue to expand on the nearby Airport Blvd. corridor, and will soon create a continuous path for the Red Line Parkway from 55th St. to Crestview Station. Read more.
Don't forget to get outside!
